FSSA's new Pathways for Aging and Structured Family Care programs now live
Dear neighbor,
Today, The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA)’s new Indiana Pathways for Aging and Structured Family Care are live. The Pathways for Aging Waiver and Health and Wellness Waiver (formerly Aged and Disabled Waiver) will also open new slots starting today.
The PathWays Waiver for individuals 60 and older and the Health and Wellness Waiver for individuals 59 and younger will provide home—and community-based services to eligible Hoosiers.
Both waivers have a designated number of slots available. According to a release from the FSSA, the PathWays for Aging Waiver has 39,842 slots available, 29,268 of which are currently filled by Hoosiers already receiving services. 10,574 slots will remain for newly eligible individuals.
The Health and Wellness Waiver has 16,127 slots, 13,190 of which are filled by Hoosiers already receiving services. 2,937 slots will remain for newly eligible individuals. A corresponding tier equivalent to their utilized Attendant Care hours has been assigned to families who transitioned to Structured Family Caregiving before July 1.
After July 1, care members will assess the appropriate tier for all Health and Wellness waiver members 17 and younger, first-time applicants for Structured Family Caregiving.
More information and additional ways to contact the vendor can be found at in.gov/pathways.
